Newstaff Employment is hiring a professional HGV2 Night Driver in Milton Keynes to complete long-distance deliveries during night shifts, ensuring goods travel safely, arrive on time and meet the highest transport standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Drive HGV2 vehicles confidently on long-distance night routes
2. Complete detailed vehicle checks before departure; therefore, you ensure road safety and compliance
3. Deliver goods safely and on schedule across regional and national routes
4. Record mileage, delivery details and driving hours accurately to meet legal requirements
5. Communicate clearly with dispatch teams so operations run smoothly
6. Follow all UK transport laws and company safety procedures at all times
7. Load and unload goods when required, securing cargo properly to prevent damage
8. Handle any delivery changes or issues professionally to maintain service standards
Essential Skills & Experience
9. Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
10. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
11. Previous long-distance or night driving experience preferred
12. Strong knowledge of UK driving regulations and compliance standards
13. Ability to manage long hours on the road responsibly
14. Reliable, focused and self-motivated approach to work
