This nurturing school provides a safe and supportive environment where pupils can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally at their own pace.
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and creative SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a collaborative, well-resourced, and child-centred setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with autism.
* Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to deliver EHCP targets.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.
* Track progress and use assessment data to inform teaching and learning.
* Support independence, communication, and social skills using strategies such as PECS, Makaton, and visual timetables.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) – experienced mainstream teachers with SEN expertise are encouraged to apply.
* Experience working with children with autism or within a SEN setting.
* A positive, empathetic approach with a strong commitment to inclusive education.
* Strong classroom management, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
