About the role:
We are seeking an ambitious Technical Analyst to join our growing Solutions Architecture team. This is a technical role supporting Solution Architects with technical data analysis, requirements gathering & specification writing tasks.
Technical Analysts act as the bridge between client-facing & technical teams, transforming TV media client business needs into the technical decisions that guide the deployment of tvbeat products and solutions. A successful Technical Analyst delivers clear & accurate technical requirements internally, and ensures value for tvbeat's clients externally.
The technical analyst role is based in London (Hybrid working).
Key Responsibilities:
* Work alongside the Solutions Architecture team as a data expert, conducting in-depth data assessments as part of the technical pre-sales process.
* Engage directly with tvbeat's clients to understand critical business needs & translate them into technical requirements.
* Update and maintain technical specifications in line with new client requirements and data updates.
* Support the development process as an expert on client data, contributing to the smooth running of tvbeat's development process.
* Support client-facing teams as a go-to for support on client data and tvbeat's technical capabilities, ensuring that client-facing teams are adequately supported and leading data-related and technical discussions.
What we are looking for:
* 1-4 years professional experience in a data-oriented role
* Experience with common data analysis tools such as: SQL, Excel - programming experience highly desirable.
* Experience working in a fast-paced development environment, with a pro-active approach to learning.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in communicating technical concepts.
* A detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Able to grasp and balance both complex technical concepts & the business/commercial needs of clients within the TV media industry.
* Experience in the TV media or AdTech industry is highly desirable.
* Driven and a self starter, able to take initiative and work independently as well as in a team.
