Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Leader Provision: Children’s Home (EBD) | 4-bed service | Ages 7–17 Location: Chorley Reporting to: Deputy Manager / Registered Manager Pay: £16 per hour Sleep-ins: £65 per sleep-in (approx. 10 per month) Attendance Bonus: £100 per month Shift Pattern: 2 on / 4 off (condensed shifts) Overtime: Available if desired, paid at 1.3x hourly rate Potential take-home: Circa £39,300 per annum Qualification Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Please note: Level 3 Health and Social Care is not deemed equivalent for this role. Job overview Senior Residential Support Workers (Team Leaders) play a key role in creating stability and consistency for children and young people who have experienced trauma and adversity. You will lead shifts, model best practice, support and mentor colleagues, and help ensure the home delivers consistently high standards of care, safeguarding, and outcomes.
