Working alongside the Regional Director, you will focus on business growth through the retention of existing clients and a continuous drive to add to the existing client base throughout Europe.

Key Responsibilities
* We expect that you will develop lasting client relationships, including regular face to face contact
* Much of your activity will be in the Aberdeen region, however there is no “geographical” limit within the UK & European markets for you to develop and grow our customer portfolio
* Ensuring all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner, you will be responsible for managing your own diary
* As an experienced Business Developer you will identify & present opportunities relating to new markets, geographies and product applications for appraisal by senior management
* Our markets include Refineries, Energy plants (LNG, Hydrogen, etc.) & Renewables.
* Foster an environment of good internal communication between Operations, Workshop, Finance & Marketing departments
What we’re looking for
* 3-5 years’ experience in an external business development role
* Proven track record in new business development
* Ability to plan & prepare presentations and also submit monthly activity reports
* Flexibility to travel throughout UK & Europe as required
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to formulate & implement pursuit plans aimed at new clients, markets, applications & geographies
* Excellent attention to detail
