We are seeking an experiencedHR leader to join our team on a14 Month Contract.You will oversee HRactivities in the Cathelco & HEM Business Line. In thisrole you will report to the Chief People and Culture Officer andyou will be an important part of the business line leadership team.You will also be an integral member of the Global HR Team with aprimary focus on supporting our Cathelco & HEM BusinessLine organisation which has a footprint in 7 counties worldwide.The location of this role is Chesterfield UK.
Asa HR leader you will serve as aconsultative partner to leaders enabling the business to addressorganisational challenges and cultivate a talentfocusedorganisation to enable growth. You will drive and implement theannual people process and agenda priorities for Cathelco &HEM and act as a sounding board for global needs by developing anddriving the Evac people priorities. You will drive change andgrowth via your team and global HR team.
Youalso provide HR daytoday handson support for employees and managersacross Evac offices in Evac Business line countries in any employeelifecycle topics. This support can be related toonboarding/offboarding activities time & attendanceadministration benefits leaves workers compensation training anddevelopment safety compliance or enforcing company policies andpractices. You will also be creating and developing local processesand practices with an aim of creating a Great Place to work wherepeople can do their best.
Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of HRmatters across the Cathelco Business Line from onboarding toperformance management compensation matters and learning anddevelopment activities.
* Implement Evacs peoplepriorities ensuring the attraction Leadership talent developmentsuccession planning and retention of employees.
* Evaluate the organisations future workforceneeds and recommend changes to HR initiatives.
* Partner with stakeholders and managers toimplement people processes effectively including producing anddelivering training.
* Coach and guide managersand employees on employee relations performance career developmentculture and engagement.
* Ensure compliance withlocal employment laws and regulations reviewing policies andpractices to maintain compliance.
* Manageemployee safety welfare wellness and health in cooperation withrelevant partners.
* Oversee accurate payrolladministration and leave management.
* Supportthe local implementation of Evacs global HR processes andparticipate in the development of global HR initiatives.
* Act as a process owner for one or more globalpeople processes.
* Engage and influencebusiness leaders providing strategic advice on people issues and HRneeds.
* Buildrelationships with functional and operational area managers todevelop and implement local action plans aligned with Evacs overallpeople agenda.
* Foster a culture of inclusivitythat enables all employees to thrive and lead change plans thatengage leaders and employees.
* Cultivate aculture that recognises and celebrates talent.
Requirements:
* Minimum 7 years ofexperience as an HR consultant or HR manager with additionalexperience as a business partner preferred.
* CIPD level 7 or Bachelors degree in HumanResources Business or a related field
* Thoroughknowledge of UK employmentrelated laws and regulations includingbenefits compliance.
* Coaching skills &facilitation skills.
* Proficiency with HRIS andtalent management systems.
* Peopleorientedapproach with a strong drive for results through excellent planningand execution skills.
* Ability to translatebusiness plans and strategies into actionable HR plans.
* Strong business mindset excellentcommunication skills and analytical problemsolving abilities.
* Commitment and enthusiasm to driveorganisational success with a strong teamwork attitude.
