What You Will Do
: Convert 3D CAD files (STP) into 2D DXF files to support manufacturing processes and ensure timely delivery for production.
: Remotely program press brake and laser cutting machines to streamline production in alignment with project schedules.
: Upload accurate and relevant data into MRP systems to maintain smooth workflows and ensure project milestones are met.
: Actively contribute to process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sustainability and safety in manufacturing.
: Support the design:for:manufacture process to ensure parts and products meet performance requirements and manufacturing standards.
: Identify tools, equipment, and resources needed to improve safety, quality, and productivity, and assist in their procurement.
What You Will Bring
: Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, ideally Inventor, with the ability to read and interact with technical drawings.
: Experience in press brake operations and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
: Strong computer literacy and familiarity with MRP systems for data management.
: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
: Training and practical experience in metal fabrication and parts manufacturing.
