Express Recruitment are delighted to be supporting one of Nottingham’s leading building services businesses in their search for a Mechanical Contracts Supervisor, with a particular focus on Commercial Gas Engineering.
The ideal candidate will be no stranger to working with mechanical systems and will have a background in gas engineering and facilities maintenance. Predominantly work will be Midlands based, but with some nationwide travel when required.

Roles & Responsibilities:
* Carry out effective delivery of PPM reactive maintenance
* Perform troubleshooting and finding faults with current systems
* Monitor and manage the performance of engineers and subcontractors
* Allocate resources to meet client needs for reactive works
* Complete snagging lists and produce detailed fault and evaluation reports
* Advise on most suitable and cost-effective upgrades where possible
* Comply with Health & Safety regulations at all times
* Manage budgets for maintenance projects
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience working with Building services, including electrical and mechanical systems
* Apprentice trained or HNC/HND in relevant engineering discipline
* Proven experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer highly advantageous
* Demonstrable experience within previous maintenance role
* Effective communicator on all senior levels
* Formal trade qualification ideal but not essential
* Full UK Driving License essential
