What to expect
The Electrical Automation Engineer is responsible for electrical, automation, and industrial network systems in our production and facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining these systems and supporting improvement projects.
Systems Responsibilities
* Electrical: High Voltage (HV) supply, distribution, transformation network, Low Voltage (LV) systems, troubleshooting, and support for site technicians.
* Automation: PLC systems (Siemens S7-300, S7-400, S7-1500), HMIs, troubleshooting, upgrades, backups, and managing external specialists.
* Additional Automation Systems: Safety PLCs, other PLC brands (e.g., B&R), print and apply systems, SCADA systems (Wonderware, Siemens).
* Networking: Debugging and resolving machine-level networks (Profinet) and site-wide networks (TCP/IP, TSN), VLAN configuration.
Skills and Experience
* Knowledge of internal standards related to electrical, automation, networking, cybersecurity, and machinery safety.
* Experience in FMCG environment, leadership skills, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Ability to identify non-compliances, safety conflicts, and provide guidance for improvements.
* Experience with water stewardship, managing boreholes, water systems, and water-saving initiatives.
* Understanding of facilities utilities such as compressors, boilers, and gas systems.
