A progressive and people-focused accountancy firm with strong regional roots is looking for a Senior Employment Tax Manager to join its high-performing tax team-either in its growing Birmingham hub or well-established Bristol office.
This is a strategic and client-facing role offering a rich blend of advisory, leadership, and business development responsibilities. You'll be joining a forward-thinking firm with a reputation for excellence, a collaborative culture, and a rapidly growing employment tax offering.
You'll work alongside senior tax leaders and Partners to deliver complex and varied employment tax projects for a diverse client base-ranging from scale-ups and mid-sized corporates to major regional employers.
What you'll be doing:
* Leading on employment tax advisory projects (including benefits, reward structures, NMW, international employment, and CIS)
* Supporting transactions with employment tax due diligence
* Coaching and mentoring junior team members into confident tax professionals
* Contributing to business development and helping shape go-to-market strategy
* Playing a role in expanding the firm's employment tax services across the Midlands and South West
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll likely be:
* CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with strong employment tax experience
* Experienced in advisory work-ideally including international employment matters (CIS knowledge welcomed but not essential)
* A natural communicator and relationship builder with clients and colleagues
* Passionate about people development and team leadership
* Motivated by being part of a growing, ambitious firm with a strong regional identity
