Total Salary for both roles: £15,463 per annum (pay-award pending)
27 hours and 15 minutes per week.
Teaching Assistant (Fixed-term linked to an EHCP):
* 22 hours and 45 minutes, Monday – Friday, 9.00am - 3.30pm. Term-time only plus 8 professional Development days.
Lunchtime Supervisor (permanent):
* 4 hours and 30 minutes, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Term-time only.
Monday – Wednesday (Lunchtime Supervision) there is a planned 30-minute unpaid lunch break. On Thursday's and Friday's there is a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
There may be an option for a job share.
We are seeking to appoint a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant and Lunchtime Supervisor to join Welland Primary School.
Teaching Assistant (Fixed-term linked to an EHCP):
Teaching Assistants are valued members of our School Team. They play a full and welcomed part in the life of the school, sharing in social events and sometimes running after school clubs or leading a curriculum subject or area of school life.
Experience of working with children is essential as is a willingness to be a full part of our school team. The successful candidate should be able to work under their own initiative.
We are committed to the on-going professional development of all our staff. The successful candidates will receive support and mentoring as well as access to appropriate professional development courses and development opportunities.
Lunchtime Supervisor (Permanent)
In addition, for 3 days a week, the successful candidate will also work as part of a team to ensure the welfare and safety of all children at Welland Primary within the school grounds or buildings during lunch times.
