Summary You will provide all round support to our finance team. You will be part of a team of four who maintain all aspects of the finance function at Outward Bound. Daily activities include purchase invoice entry, payments, purchase ledger duties and maintaining a small bank account, assisting with busy finance functions and administrative tasks. Apply double entry bookkeeping and accounting standards to process financial documents, generate financial statements and report financial information to users of accounts. Assist with production of accurate financial information for the preparation of accounts. Reconcile financial data, such as, preparation of reconciliations or review of reconciliations. Investigate, resolve or escalate transactional queries and errors within their remit as appropriate. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders. Communicate financial information in a way that non-finance stakeholders can interpret and understand. Your training plan Training will be provided in partnership with First Intuition in Manchester who provide high quality and tailored training. You will be attending one day a week tuition towards the AAT Level 2 Bookkeeping and AAT Level 3 qualifications at our modern city centre training centre and will be supported by a dedicated skills and development coach throughout your programme. You will also follow our Impact Skills programme to help you build the professional skills you need to support you in building your career in finance.
