Our client seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team in Crawley. This is a full-time, mobile role involving the installation, servicing, and repair of a wide range of perimeter security products.
About the Role
As part of their Field Service team, you will:
Carry out full installations of perimeter security systems, including gates, barriers, and road blockers.
Attend existing client sites to conduct routine maintenance, emergency callouts, fault finding, and repairs.
Work on both our own products and a variety of systems manufactured by others.
Collaborate closely with our administration team to schedule and complete work efficiently.
Travel mainly within London and the Southeast, with additional UK-wide visits and opportunities for occasional overseas travel based on experience and expertise.
Report directly to the Field Operations Manager.What They’re Looking For:
Self-motivated, confident, and customer focused.
Capable of delivering high-quality work and following in-house training procedures.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate records of tasks, inspections, and site visits.
Responsible for managing vehicle stock, ensuring tools and materials are ready for upcoming jobs.Essential Requirements:
Full clean UK driving licence
Good level of physical fitness due to the demands of the role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to pass security clearances
Field Service Engineering experience (Mechanical/Electrical)
CSCS Card, IPAF, PASMA (desirable)Benefits
