As a Facilities Coordinator, you'll be based at Beacon Park Village, a vibrant retirement community with 135 apartments. You'll help create an environment that our customers love, is safe and feels like home. You will be the go-to person for all things maintenance-related, using your skills and knowledge to carry out any minor repairs and checks, and coordinating specialist contractors when needed. What you'll be doing Carrying out day-to-day repairs and regular maintenance checks Conducting temperature checks, fire alarm testing, and legionella monitoring Building strong relationships with customers - being approachable, friendly and reliable Managing contractor visits for reactive, cyclical and planned maintenance Ensuring the health, safety and security of the building Prioritising and multi-tasking your workload effectively. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check. If appointed to the role, the job title will be Facilities Coordinator. What you'll bring: General handyperson experience in a customer-facing role Experience in basic property maintenance and repair assessment Plumbing skills, knowledge or experience (advantageous) Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A proactive, positive, can-do attitude and a consistent, engaged team player Ability to prioritise and organise your workload effectively Excellent IT skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic Commitment to our DNA - being a great ambassador for Bromford This role may suit if you've worked as facilities coordinator, handyperson, maintenance operative or caretaker.
