Job Description:
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office, located in Leeds, Glasgow, or Milton Keynes.
The Procurement Operations/Enablement Manager will be a proactive, detail-oriented member of the Operational Procurement and Systems team, collaborating to drive adoption of the Group's new systems through effective content design and guided user experience. The role ensures a smooth, user-friendly experience across procurement systems and platforms, supporting day-to-day operations and external providers within the UK SAP environment. Responsibilities include enhancing the procurement portal for intuitive navigation, maintaining audit and compliance controls, and managing the SAP ARIBA system, including potential migration to an SAP ARIBA only environment. The candidate will also build at the group level, develop process flows, bridge gaps between technical and procurement teams, and recommend improvements based on policy impact assessments.
Key requirements include experience in procurement operations or shared services, ideally within a regulated environment; strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier lifecycle management; experience managing third-party suppliers and performance metrics; familiarity with SAP, content management, and UX best practices; stakeholder management and influencing skills; knowledge of financial accounting and procurement best practices; and leadership experience. A passion for excellent customer service and the ability to develop functional plans are essential.
