Wellbeing & Communities Ranger Aldern House, Baslow Rd, Bakewell DE45 1AE, UK £30,296 to £32,076 pro rata per annum The Role This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the Engagement team within the Peak District National Park Authority. We are looking to appoint a motivated person to deliver Health and Wellbeing initiatives that support the delivery of the National Park Management Plan. The Engagement Team promote opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the special qualities of the National Park and the health and wellbeing benefits it offers. This will be achieved through a programme of targeted partnerships, networks, project activity such as health walk programmes, Nature Prescription training, In the role you will be responsible for: - Developing and delivering opportunities for underserved communities to connect with and enjoy the National Park and for all to benefit from the improvement of physical and mental wellbeing. - Managing staff and volunteers responsible for delivery of Communities and Wellbeing work programmes connected to the service objectives and the National Park Management Plan. This role will operate across the Peak District National Park working with communities and partners and other Peak District National Park teams. The main office base for this role will be in Bakewell, Aldern House. Provisional Interview date: Wed 19 June Post-holder must have the ability to travel as required by the duties of the post. About You The successful applicant will be involved in many networking events, building relationships and partners, signposting, delivering training and acting as a voice for PDNP opportunities.
