Role Description
This is a full-time (part time considered) on-site role for a Graduate Podiatrist located at The Village Clinic in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The role involves providing podiatric medical care, specializing in diagnosing and treating foot health issues. Daily responsibilities include conducting biomechanical assessments, managing foot-related conditions such as diabetes, and designing or prescribing orthotic solutions. The candidate will collaborate with team members and ensure the highest standards of patient care and outcomes.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Podiatry with an ability to assess and treat various foot and lower limb conditions.
* Knowledge of Biomechanics and Orthotics, with the skills to perform gait analysis and design custom orthotic devices.
* Understanding of diabetes management as it pertains to podiatric care, ensuring comprehensive treatment for diabetic patients.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
* Relevant degree in Podiatry and registration with an appropriate professional body.
* Previous experience in a clinical setting or similar role is advantageous.
