Key Responsibilities:
Complete high-quality assessments, reports, and care plans for children involved in care proceedings.
Provide clear and concise evidence within the court process, supporting timely and appropriate outcomes.
Engage with adoption cases where required, ensuring the best interests of children are upheld.
Manage caseloads within the Public Law Outline (PLO) and meet statutory timelines, particularly the 26-week court schedule.
Liaise effectively with legal representatives, children’s guardians, and internal service teams to ensure comprehensive care planning.
About You:
Registered with Social Care Wales (SCW) or eligible to register.
Demonstrated experience within child protection or court teams.
Strong knowledge of PLO procedures, care proceedings, and statutory responsibilities.
Ability to write robust court reports and confidently present in legal forums.
Effective communicator with strong analytical and organisational skills.
