Personal Assistant needed to help a young Male 4hrs per week, HU3 area
A PA is needed to support a young male with autism and sensory needs who is non-verbal but will make his needs known via signs.
PA will need to be aware that he has no sense of danger and try and minimise any risk from harm.
PA will support to access the community by taking him to a local park/play area he also enjoys going swimming, the PA will need to help with getting changed and to go into the swimming pool with him.
The hours are for 4 hours Saturday or Sunday which are to be discussed at interview.
Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority/employer
