Onsite IT Support
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment? We're working with a leading IT services provider to recruit a Tech Bar Engineer to support a high-profile public sector client onsite in Glasgow.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on IT support, interacting with users at all levels, and being the go-to person for resolving day-to-day tech issues.
What You'll Be Doing:
Acting as the face of the IT department at the onsite Tech Bar
Providing first-line support for hardware and software issues (Windows OS, MS Office, mobile devices)
Troubleshooting laptop issues, including RAM/battery swaps and re-imaging devices
Assisting users with connectivity issues, password resets, and printer support
Supporting new starters with setup and onboarding
Offering proactive laptop health checks and floor-walking during major incidents
Helping with meeting room tech setup and visitor support
Managing returns, stock replenishment, and basic diagnostics
Supporting internal events and identifying service improvements
What We're Looking For:
Strong experience with Windows OS and general PC troubleshooting
Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach
