Job Summary
To efficiently manage field operations, including controlling sub-contractors' day-to-day activities and ensuring material supplies are available in conjunction with the Site Manager. Assist the Site Manager in planning and programming site activities to ensure work is completed safely. Deputise for the Site Manager when necessary and manage quality standards to meet customer expectations.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Organisation and control of labour and sub-contractors
2. Completion of weekly planning sheets to meet the overall build programme
3. Provide direction to contractors and manage quality standards
4. Coordinate with the Site Manager for material availability
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures
6. Conduct inspections to ensure safety and quality standards
7. Ensure work adheres to method statements and risk assessments
8. Coordinate with Sales regarding customer options and variations
9. Plan site inspections and arrange for statutory inspections
10. Assist in customer handover procedures, ensuring defect-free homes
11. Regularly inspect properties during construction and complete snagging lists
12. Ensure contractors work according to drawings and specifications
13. Manage waste disposal and site presentation standards
Experience, Qualifications, and Technical Requirements
* Trade background
* NVQ Residential Construction Site Supervision L4
* Knowledge of building processes, NHBC, and Building Regulations
* First aid qualified
* CSCS card at Manager/Supervisor level
