Workshop Recruitment is seeking a Late Shift Supervisor to join a well-established, family-run business operating across the South of England. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor to lead a workshop team, maintain high safety standards, and support the ongoing development of technicians and apprentices.The successful Late Shift Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring repairs, servicing, and inspections are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with DVSA and manufacturer standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise workshop technicians and fitters during late shift operationsEnsure repairs and servicing are completed safely and cost-effectivelyPromote safe working practices and compliance with PPE proceduresAssist with vehicle fault diagnosis and roadside repairs when requiredWork closely with transport teams to maximise vehicle availabilityEnsure vehicles are prepared for MOT testing and compliance standardsComplete workshop documentation, service sheets, and job cards accuratelySupport apprentices and trainees with ongoing developmentSkills & Experience RequiredStrong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and workshop operationsUnderstanding of DVSA, VOSA, and health & safety regulationsPrevious supervisory or team leadership experienceGood organisational and communication skillsAbility to prioritise workload effectivelyBasic IT skills including Microsoft OfficeFirst Aid and Fire Marshall training desirableFull UK Driving Licence requiredWhat's on Offer36.5-hour working weekWorkplace pension schemeLife assurance (2x salary)28 days holiday including bank holidaysTraining and development opportunitiesFree company social eventsOnsite parkingTPBN1_UKTJ
