As a National Customs Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic development of Stand-alone Customs Brokerage in the UK. This role involves identifying, engaging, and closing business in line with the Customs Roadmap and Defined Customs Sales Target.
How you create impact
* Lead the sale of stand-alone customs brokerage, independently or with the Customs Management team.
* Support commercial strategies to secure large, multi-country, and SME opportunities.
* Identify new opportunities and work with KN UK Sales Channels to close deals.
* Respond to RFQ/RFI inquiries related to customs brokerage services.
* Evaluate cross-selling opportunities and collaborate with the National Customs Sales Manager to target new business.
What we would like you to bring
* Over 10 years in logistics, industry, and customs brokerage, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles.
* Strong commercial understanding of the customs market, business process improvement, and the ability to manage complex projects, multiple stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
* Solid problem-solving and financial management skills, advanced computer literacy, and familiarity with the latest technologies (RPA, OCR, databases, presentations).
* Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to translate customer needs into business expansion and drive product vision effectively.
* Travel is expected.
