Axon Moore are proud to be exclusively recruiting on behalf of a highly-valued client in Wigan as they look to grow their specialist payroll team with the addition of an experienced and adept Payroller capable of excelling in a fast-paced role.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
* Payroll bureau
* Responsible for all aspects of payroll from start to finish
* Reconciling payroll reports
* High volume/multiple payrolls (weekly and monthly)
* Auto enrolment rules for assessing, joining, opting out employees.
* RTI Submissions
* Processing 932 information on a monthly basis
* Processing statutory payments
* Handling payroll queries
* Year-end returns
* Other ad-hoc duties
Required Skills and Experience
* At least 2 years' payroll experience
* Able to efficiently manage and organise their workload
* Microsoft Excel and Sage proficient
* A good understanding of PAYE, NI, RTI SMP, SSP and other HMRC statutory regulations
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Proactive and self-motivated in nature
* Able to work efficiently towards deadlines
