An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen for the post below based within the Women, Children’s and Sexual Health Services Directorate.
Gender Based Violence Nurse Adviser, Band 6, part-time 29.7 hours per week.
The post holder will in conjunction with the Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Sexual Assault (SA) Lead, provide a supporting and advisory service within the NHS Forth Valley area. This will include support of individuals following sexual assault in Forth Valley. The team work across the Forth Valley area including staff within the respective Health and Social Care Partnerships and Acute Services.
The nurse advisor will develop, co-ordinate and deliver a comprehensive programme in partnership with the GBV lead and train staff at all levels within NHS Forth Valley and the Health and Social Care Partnership. They will also participate in the development and delivery of multi-agency training across Forth Valley.
