This is an incredible opportunity to join a market leading firm of Top 15 chartered accountants based in Maidstone. You will work within an experienced, regional team of tax advisors, servicing a mixed and very exciting portfolio of clients. Our clients, works for a range of businesses from owner managed businesses, through to significantly sized, and listed groups.
1. Being a point of contact for clients for corporation tax matters
2. Preparing the more complex corporation tax returns and tax computations
3. Reviewing tax returns and accompanying workings as drafted by other staff
4. Advising clients on corporation tax liabilities as they become due
5. Preparing/amending letters and emails to HMRC
6. Drafting/amending correspondence to client or third parties
7. Assisting in dealing with enquiries raised by HMRC
8. Preparing other forms etc. as required by HMRC or other third parties
9. Assisting with the preparation of R&D tax relief claims
10. Various ad hoc work as it arises such as technical research
11. Assisting with advisory work such as advising clients of upcoming tax changes and how they can best plan for future tax liabilities
