Chef Manager

Guys Court Residential Care Home, 409 Poulton Road, Fleetwood, Lancashire, FY7 7JY

Pay £16.59 per hour

36 hours per week – no late nights, no split shifts

Your role

1. Lead the day to day running of the kitchen, supporting an Assistant Chef and Catering Assistants
2. Prepare and cook meals that meet individual dietary requirements for older people
3. Manage stock and waste while working within budget
4. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and compliance through regular checks and risk assessments
5. Recruit, train and support the catering team to help them grow and succeed

Your skills

6. Experience catering for the dietary needs of older people
7. A valid food hygiene certificate
8. A friendly, approachable nature and enjoyment of working with people
9. Confidence leading and supporting a small team
