Salary: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently looking to recruit a committed Cover Supervisor for primary setting in Hailsham. Starting this September, this full-time, long-term role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and is ready to step up and lead learning when teachers are absent.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons, maintaining classroom routines, and ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere. It’s a great opportunity to build hands-on experience in a primary setting.
Responsibilities as Cover Supervisor (CS):
* Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences.
* Ensure pupils stay on task and complete the work set.
* Manage classroom behaviour and follow school policies.
* Support pupils with questions and encourage participation.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure consistency.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience working with children or in a school environment.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* Flexible, proactive, and confident in leading learning.
* A current, up-to date CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
