We’re looking for an SMB Account Manager to join our Manchester team. In this role, you’ll help our restaurant partners grow their businesses by improving their delivery operations, attracting new customers, and leveraging our latest technology to get the very best out of our platform.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the SMB (Small Medium Business) team in Manchester City Centre. We focus on high‑velocity, desk‑based relationship management, acting as the primary consultants for our diverse partner base to ensure their long‑term success.
Strategic Portfolio Management: Independently manage a portfolio of accounts using a desk‑based model, driving growth through phone, email, and video presentations.
Relationship Partnership: Build and maintain favourable, long‑term relationships with partners, ensuring they receive exceptional service and tailored support.
Campaign Execution: Execute national and local marketing campaigns to improve key performance metrics, including order volume, retention, and customer outcomes.
Consultative Selling: Guide partners on how to offer the best delivery experience and take advantage of our latest technology and perks.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Liaise between your restaurant partners and internal Deliveroo teams to ensure our solutions are delivered according to their specific needs.
Base Salary: £29,300 + up to £6,000 bonus yearly
Hybrid model: 3 days in office / 2 days remote
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Proven Account Management: A track record in an account management role with experience in telephone‑based support and selling.
Data‑Led Problem Solving: The ability to understand problems and get to the crux of an issue quickly using data, without over‑complicating solutions.
Creative Communication: An excellent phone manner and the ability to remove barriers through creativity and persuasive communication.
Tech Curiosity: A genuine enthusiasm for technology and a keenness to learn how digital tools can help partners excel in a competitive marketplace.
Results‑Oriented: A proactive mindset focused on driving positive outcomes for both our partners and the Deliveroo business.

Step 3: Recruiter Screen – You’ll have a 15‑30 minute conversation with someone from Deliveroo to talk through your experience in more detail, learn more about the role, and get guidance on how to prepare for the next stages.
Step 4: Interview & Case Study – You’ll be invited to interview with one of our Managers, which may include a case study where you’ll present your findings (online or onsite).
Step 5: Outcome – We’ll get back to you after your interview to let you know the result!
