Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Natural Resources team. You’ll be working on our Thames Water framework, specifically managing a site at East Hyde, Bedfordshire.
Location & Hours
Location: Work from home with travel to site at East Hyde, Bedfordshire
Hours: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired. Just let us know!
Your Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a crucial role in our Natural Resources commercial team, supporting the Water Framework for Thames Water. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
* Collaborate with the project delivery team to ensure contractual control and cost management across various sectors.
* Gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to project delivery.
* Manage the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts, from procurement to interim and final account agreements.
* Engage in final account negotiations to secure the best possible outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You hold a relevant academic qualification in a Construction-related degree.
* You possess a full Driving License.
* You have prior experience in a Commercial role for a contractor.
* You are familiar with a variety of contract forms.
