Overview
The Primary Care Services Directorate is looking for a number of dynamic and highly motivated administrators to join the admin teams to support the day to day running of the RWT PCN practices. The post holder(s) must be flexible, a good team player with a positive attitude, have an empathetic manner, excellent communication skills, organisational aptitude, ability to work under pressure and a good understanding of basic IT packages. Attention to detail is expected at all times. Previous reception experience/office based role is essential. The post holder(s) may at times be required to work at different sites to meet the demands of the service.

Responsibilities
* Offer general assistance to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
* Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
* Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the Practice including the provision of administrative support to clinical staff and other members of the Practice team.
* Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies.
* Provide a comprehensive reception and administrative support to the practice e.g., specific responsibilities within the practice clinical systems and some personnel administration.
* Enthusiastically support the Practice team in developing systems of improvement and new innovations.
