Our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealership based in Cardiff, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. Conduct fault diagnosis, vehicle servicing, and repairs on customer vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
Accurately diagnose faults and report conditions relating to safety, reliability, and vehicle performance to the Service Manager
Perform MOT inspections to a high standard (Class 4 licence preferred but not essential) on various makes and models
Ensure strict adherence to health & safety and quality procedures at all times
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality work and professional conduct
Collaborate with colleagues within a large, friendly workshop team
Support the dealership's goals by working efficiently to targets set by managementRequirements for the Vehicle Technician position:
Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Minimum of 2-3 years practical experience as a Vehicle Technician in a franchised dealership environment
Class 4 MOT licence and experience performing MOTs (desired but not essential)
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Strong team player with a committed and professional attitude
Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
