Electrical Project Manager Location: Didcot, Oxford Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 Travel Package Company: Leading M&E Contractor (50 Years | £65m Turnover) Overview We're representing a well-established M&E contractor with a strong track record delivering complex technical projects across the UK for over five decades, currently operating at a turnover of around £65 million. The business is now looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager to take full command of a new laboratory development in Didcot, owning the electrical element from pre-construction through to completion. This is a solid opportunity to join a contractor known for its stability, repeat work and strong commercial leadership. Role Responsibilities Oversee the full electrical package across the project lifecycle Lead pre-construction activities including design review, procurement and planning Take charge of subcontractors, labour and supply chain partners Ensure installation and delivery are on time, on budget and to specification Act as the senior electrical point of contact for the client, consultants and project stakeholders Review technical designs, drive coordination and manage RFIs Monitor commercial performance including variations and reporting Attend progress meetings and keep senior stakeholders updated Drive testing, commissioning and close-out documentation Experience & Requirements Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager within an M&E environment Strong understanding of electrical building services and relevant industry standards Proven ability to manage projects from pre-construction to final handover Experience with laboratory, R&D, healthcare or technical environments is highly beneficial Solid communication and leadership skills with a professional, reliable approach Confident decision-maker who can plan, coordinate and problem-solve effectively Package & Benefits £70,000 - £75,000 basic salary (DOE) Travel package included Long-term stability with a respected contractor Supportive leadership and genuine career progression If you're a proven Electrical Project Manager looking to take control of a complex laboratory project with a contractor built on reputation, delivery and longevity, we'd welcome the conversation
