Business Development Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join an established sales team,
supporting growth within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The business is a leading fabricator within the
window and door industry, known for manufacturing high-quality products that meet evolving market demands.
A diverse product portfolio serves both commercial and retail sectors, with ongoing innovation across PVC and
aluminium ranges.
The Role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager who is prepared to challenge convention and bring innovative,
creative thinking to the role, while taking ownership of implementing effective actions and strategies.
The successful candidate will be assigned a territory based on location, which may include:
• South West / Wales
• South East / London
• Midlands
You will ideally be based with easy access to major road networks such as the M5, M25, M40, M6, M1, or A14.
Key Responsibilities
• Generating sales of windows, doors, and associated components
• Driving turnover growth across the assigned territory
• Promoting product ranges to both new and existing customers
• Providing technical and marketing support to customers
• Supporting the customer service function as required
• Contributing to company-wide marketing initiatives
• Ensuring accurate and timely management reporting
• Providing technical and market insight to support product development and innovation
• Collaborating closely with colleagues and providing cover when required
• Producing market intelligence reports and sales forecasts for the territory
Skills and Experience
• Proven experience in sales development and/or account management within a similar industry (minimum
of 1 year preferred)
• Ability to influence and build confidence with customers and colleagues
• Ideally, knowledge of the building materials sector
• Experience using CRM systems
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Clear and structured reporting capability
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
• Resilient and able to remain calm under pressure
• Strategic and commercially focused mindset
• Confident user of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
