Lecturer in Maths
1. Salary: £31,925 to £40,640 per annum
2. Hours: 37 hours per week.
3. Location: Selby College
Due to fantastic levels of growth of 16-18 year old students within the Group, we are looking for a Maths Lecturer to join our team to provide outstanding teaching and ensure that all our learners succeed and achieve their highest potential across a range of programmes including GCSE and Functional Skills.
We are looking for an outstanding and enthusiastic professional who has a track record of highly effective teaching in Maths. You should have successful experience of establishing a culture of excellent behaviour, motivation and high learner performance through excellent standards of teaching and learning.
As a Lecturer in Maths, you should:
4. Hold a professional qualification or degree in a relevant area (level 4 or above)
5. Have GCSE A* - C / 9 - 4 in Maths and English qualifications or equivalent
6. Be able to evidence relevant Continuing Professional Development
You should also be able to demonstrate:
7. Successful teaching experience delivering outstanding outcomes, with particular experience of re-engaging young people
8. A passion for supporting students to succeed
9. Excellent people skills in order to support the achievement of above average results
10. A track record of ability to implement key initiatives in a dynamic and changeable environment
