We’re supporting a profitable, private equity–backed technology business in Lancashire as it enters an exciting phase of growth. With a clear value creation strategy already underway and ambitious plans for the next stage of expansion, the business is now looking to bring in a commercially focussed FP&A Manager to strengthen its finance capability.
This newly created position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and the C-suite, providing financial insight that will directly influence strategic and investment decisions.

About the Job
This is a commercially focused FP&A role with plenty of scope to make an impact. You’ll be responsible for delivering meaningful analysis and modelling that helps guide business performance and support growth initiatives.
Working in a fast paced environment, you’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders across the organisation, translating complex financial information into clear insights that drive better decision making.
The role would suit someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, is comfortable navigating ambiguity, and wants exposure to strategic conversations within a PE backed business.
Key Responsibilities
* Work alongside the Head of FP&A to deliver budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning
* Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions
* Ensure financial and operational data is accurate, structured and suitable for robust analysis
* Establish and monitor key business KPIs, providing regular performance insights to senior stakeholders
* Support the leadership team with commercial analysis and strategic projects
* Contribute to investor reporting and performance discussions with private equity stakeholders
* Provide guidance and support to junior members of the finance team
Requirements
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in commercial finance or FP&A
* Strong financial modelling skills and the ability to interpret complex data clearly
* Commercially aware and confident working with senior stakeholders
* Advanced Excel user; experience with Power BI or similar tools is advantageous
* Comfortable improving processes and working with large sets of data
* Experience in PE backed or high-growth environments would be beneficial
* Proactive, curious and able to work independently in a fast-moving setting
* Comfortable working at pace and adapting to shifting priorities
