JOB DETAILS

Role Title: Technical Publication Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Publication Engineer (Authoring & Illustration) with strong expertise in Arbortext and IsoDraw to support aerospace documentation programs.
The candidate will be responsible for updating and maintaining CMM (Component Maintenance Manual) and IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalog) in line with ATA 100/iSpec2200 standards, leveraging Windchill data and engineering inputs.

Key Responsibilities

Update and maintain Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM) and Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) as per engineering inputs and change requests.
Perform content authoring using Arbortext, ensuring compliance with industry and organizational standards.
Create and modify technical illustrations using IsoDraw for IPC updates based on engineering drawings, CAD models, and BOM data.
Interpret and utilize engineering BOM and configuration data from Windchill to ensure accurate part list updates.
Ensure all updates are compliant with ATA 100/iSpec2200 standards and formatting requirements.
Validate part numbers, effectivity, and illustration consistency during IPC updates.
Incorporate engineering changes (ECPs/ECNs) into CMM and IPC with proper traceability.
Support revision control, version updates, and release activities within the technical publication life cycle.
Collaborate with Design, Configuration Management, and SMEs for validation and clarification of technical content.
Perform quality checks and ensure accuracy of content and illustrations before release.



Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Aerospace Technical Publications domain.
Strong hands-on experience in Arbortext (Authoring) and IsoDraw (Illustration).
Good working knowledge of Windchill (BOM/PLM data usage).
Experience working with ATA 100/iSpec2200 standards.
Proven experience in CMM and IPC update activities.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, CAD models (CATIA preferred), and parts lists.
Understanding of revision control, effectivity, and configuration management concepts.



Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Simplified Technical English (STE).
Exposure to S1000D or structured documentation standards (added advantage).
Experience working on aircraft structures/components (nacelle preferred).
Experience handling multiple updates and revisions under tight timelines.
