Hospo Talent is recruiting for care providers to join a well-known care home group operating across Scotland. These care providers would be responsible for delivering non-medical services to clients in their own homes, aimed at improving their quality of life and enabling them to remain independent for as long as possible. The role of a care provider involves various responsibilities and tasks across different categories: Companionship Services : Providing companionship and engaging in conversation with clients. Accompanying clients to appointments and social events. Monitoring diet and ensuring proper eating habits. Stimulating and encouraging clients through various activities. Ararange and provide reminders for clients of appointments and outings. Assisting with travel arrangements. Handling mail and assisting with correspondence. Assisting clients with walking and providing support as needed. Help Services : Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean environment. Organizing and tidying cupboards and monitoring food expiration dates. Planning, preparing, and serving meals, as well as cleaning up afterward. Handling errands, including answering the door and collecting prescriptions. Assisting with pet care and shopping. Supervising home maintenance tasks. Personal Care Services : Providing medication reminders to ensure clients take their prescribed medications. Assisting clients with eating and drinking, if necessary. Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and continence care. Providing specialized care for clients with Dementia or Alzheimer's. Offering respite and convalescence care when needed.
