Job overview We are looking for a Specialist Paediatric Dietitian to join our growing team based at the Royal United Hospital in Bath. The successful candidate will work within a small team of Paediatric dietitians with a range of in- and outpatient clinical activities at the RUH. The purpose of this role is to support children and young people and their families with a wide range of conditions including, allergies, diabetes, coeliac disease, gastrointestinal conditions, faltering growth, inpatient eating disorders, enteral feeding and weight management. You will work independently, as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team covering a variety of clinical activities at the RUH including inpatients on the children’s ward alongside an outpatient clinic caseload. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with Paediatric Consultants, Specialist Nurses and other AHPs in the Children’s ward, and across the community settings whilst also having the advantage of being based in a new, purpose built, integrated therapies department. The trust strongly supports a commitment to CPD and the Adult Therapy Department has Education Facilitators who support student activity for all our Therapists and Dietitians.
