Hardware Engineer essential requirements:
At least 2 years commercial experience in a similar role
Degree in Electronic Engineering
Solid experience in some of the technologies below
Other experience that will be useful - embedded systems, digital and analogue design, small microprocessor and microcontroller systems, schematic design and some PCB layout (ORCAD, MENTOR or similar), Op Amp and DC-DC PSU design, EMC design (or willing to learn), environmental testing to standards such as RTCA/DO-160 including test specification and reporting, board-level fault finding, production collaboration experience, experience in aerospace, automotive, medical, or safety-critical environments.
