We are looking for an experienced Pastry Baker to support both day-to-day production and pastry development across our growing food brands. This role suits someone who is confident working in a commercial kitchen and enjoys helping refine and standardise products for consistent output.
While some recipes exist, others will be refined and developed in collaboration with the founder. The focus is on practical, scalable pastries, not fine-dining or experimental work.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce pastry and baked goods to a consistent commercial standard
* Assist with development and refinement of pastry recipes
* Adapt recipes for volume production and repeatability
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures
* Maintain clean and organised prep areas
* Support cost awareness, portion control, and waste reduction
* Help document recipes once finalised
What We're Looking For
* Previous pastry baking experience in a café, bakery, or commercial kitchen
* Comfortable working with doughs and pastry bases
* Ability to work without full recipes at the outset
* Practical mindset with attention to consistency and efficiency
* Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience with recipe development or menu refinement
* Understanding of cost control and yield
* Food Safety Level 2

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
