About The Role: Shift Pattern: You will work 5 days over a 7 day period (sometimes including weekends) and shift patterns will vary between 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10-6pm. On occasion, there may be expectation to work late shifts to support with events. OCS are excited to be recruiting for a Landscape Gardener to join our team at Chessington World of Adventures! Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: To work within a team to maintain the soft landscape to a high standard in a theme park environment Carry out garden maintenance including mowing, strimming, weeding, pruning and hedge cutting in guest facing areas. To carry out planting including seasonal bedding and lawn care to the highest standards. To work with and maintain a large range of landscaping machinery including tractors and implements as well as ride on mowers. Working in a safe manner at all times, complying with work based risk assessments and COSHH regulations that supports a safety-first culture within the team. Maintaining ride area safety, ensuring ride area clearances are maintained and identifying and reporting tree works when required Key hiring criteria: Applicant must have the right to work in the UK A level 2 NVQ in amenity horticulture (or equivalent) Proven 5 years of commercial gardening or horticulture experience.
