Were looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice HGV Service & Maintenance Technician to join our busy Service Centre team. Youll work alongside experienced engineers learning how to inspect, maintain and repair heavy goods vehicles and trailers, from everyday servicing to complex diagnostics.
As part of your apprenticeship, youll split your time between our Preston workshop and college, gaining nationally recognised qualifications while developing the practical skills youll need to become a fully qualified HGV Technician. Youll also have the chance to work towards your HGV driving licence – giving you first-hand understanding of the vehicles youll maintain.

* Is committed to learning and completing regular college study
* Holds (or is working towards) a full UK driving licence
* Enjoys being part of a team and isnt afraid to get stuck in
* Is open to travel and keen to learn from a wide range of projects
Apprenticeship Details:
· Heavy vehicle service and maintenance technician framework (Level 3)
· Provided by Preston College (one day per week at college during term time)
· 3 year apprenticeship
· Minimum Grade 4 or above for Maths and English required
