Driver Hire Lancaser are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to assist our client based in Morecambe. A typical day would involve taking the load from Morecambe, up to Scotland and returning. Making this trunking work. The load would be transported on a flat bed so experience with flatbeds would be advantageous, although the load will be pre-strapped.
As a HGV Class Driver you must have:
* CE Licence/ Class 1 Licence
* CPC Card & Digital Tachograph
* No Major Endorsements on your licence
HGV Driver responsibilities include:
* Vehicle safety checks
* Reporting any defects
* Successfully completing trunks to and from Scotland
* Following route plans
The successful HGV Driver can expect:
* £17.50 per hour (paye adv)
* Weekly Pay
* 8 Hours guaranteed every shift
* Referral bonus - introduce a friend to us and earn when they have worked 20 shifts!
This work is commutable from Heysham, Carnforth, Lancaster and other surrounding areas.
