Overview
We are seeking both experienced and new Youth Support Workers to support the delivery of sessions for young people aged 10 to 19 in the Bassetlaw Youth Work Team. Evening sessions run from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. This is a term time only position. Posts are based at Retford Young People Centre (DN22 6EA) and Bircotes Young People Centre (DN11 8EF).

* Hourly Rate: £12.85 - £13.52 per hour

Responsibilities
* Build positive relationships with young people aged 10 to 19
* Work as a team member to deliver and manage positive activities during the session for young people
* Be able to complete training including induction and level 2 Youth Work qualification (this will include some Saturday training, estimated 9 Saturdays, plus some evening training online and in person)
* Be able to be responsive to change during the session and work as a team to resolve any issues
* Be a positive role model to young people
Qualifications / Requirements
* Experience as a Youth Support Worker or eagerness to develop in the role
* Willingness to complete required training and undergo DBS check
* Ability to work evenings and term-time only schedule
