This role is instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of electricity to our customers and requires a candidate with a unique blend of technical expertise and customer-focused leadership. What you'll be doing The position of General Manager - Customer Delivery sits within the Customer Service business unit of our SP Energy Networks function. Reporting to the Director of Customer Service, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of electricity supplies to all customers in SPM. Particular focus will be on the safety and control of the networks from LV to 132kV, including co-ordination of planned network outages to ensure minimal risk to supply and network security. In addition, you'll be responsible for the coordination of unplanned fault outages with a focus on safety, restoration, network security and delivering excellent Customer Service. You'll be accountable for customer service improvement and delivery across the customer delivery teams, you'll influence across the wider SP Energy Networks business and ensure delivery and outperformance of regulatory targets. What you'll bring The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience: Experienced people leader Professional Degree Level Qualifications with Chartered Status preferred. Significant experience in a Senior Management Role. A deep understanding of the link between network performance and service delivery. Significant post-training experience in an engineering or management role within a utility business.
