What the Job Involves As an Independent Reviewing Officer, you will chair various meetings and reviews, such as Safeguarding Children Conferences and Looked After Children Reviews, to ensure statutory requirements are met. Your role involves producing outcome-focused Child Protection plans, coordinating abuse investigations, and ensuring effective inter-agency collaboration. You will be responsible for quality assurance of care plans, conducting social work audits, and ensuring the voice of the child is central to decision-making processes. You will also provide operational cover, assist with staff development, and contribute to the collection of management information.
