Duties of a Used Car Sales Manager:
12. Lead and motivate the used car sales team driving towards monthly and annual sales targets
13. Manage part exchange valuations and ensure accurate pricing and appraisals
14. Oversee the sale of used cars, accessories, paint protection, GAP policies, and insurance products
15. Prepare and present finance proposals customised to customer needs and process finance documentation
16. Conduct thorough follow-ups with customers post-enquiry to maximise sales opportunities
17. Record and report sales data, ensuring accurate documentation of deal outcomes
18. Deliver a seamless customer experience and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
19. Monitor live leads, assign them appropriately, and ensure timely follow-up
20. Identify renewal and upselling opportunities, including last-chance contacts
21. Mentor and develop sales team members to improve performance and product knowledge
Candidate requirements:
22. Proven retail management experience within the automotive industry, minimum of 2 years
23. Strong understanding of car valuations and finance products
24. FCA accreditation is essential
25. Skilled in customer relationship management and negotiation
26. Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
27. Full UK driving licence is required
28. Knowledge of insurance products and related systems
29. Ability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction
