Overview
Our client are seeking a highly experienced Senior Programme Test Manager to lead testing across a large-scale, strategic transformation programme within a regulated financial services environment.
This role requires a technically grounded QA professional with extensive experience operating at programme level, particularly across finance and actuarial domains.
Key Requirements
Previously operated as a Senior Programme Test Manager with experience in QA / Quality Engineering (technical background preferred).
10+ years' experience in Delivery Test Management across complex, multi-release transformation programmes.
Proven track record delivering within Finance and Actuarial programmes.
Strong UK market experience (UK-based candidate essential).
Master's degree in a STEM subject.
Available to start within 1 month.
Responsibilities
Define and lead the Test Strategy, planning, and scheduling across multiple programme releases.
Oversee System Integration Testing, Data Validation, UAT, Regression, and Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) across policy and claims administration platforms and associated financial systems.
Partner with Actuarial, Finance, Data Governance, and IT teams to ensure robust test coverage aligned to regulatory and business requirements.
Engage senior stakeholders across IFRS17, Actuarial, Regulatory, and Statutory Reporting functions.
Ensure compliance with non-functional requirements, including performance, financial controls, and service assurance standards.
Support go-live readiness through structured cutover planning and post-implementation validation, ensuring operational stability.
Skills & Experience
Programme-level Test Management within finance, actuarial, or regulatory transformation environments.
Strong understanding of insurance data, claims processing, actuarial reserving, and financial reporting.
Hands-on experience with data platforms, ETL pipelines, and enterprise reporting tools.
Strong governance awareness and experience working within regulated environments.
Confident communicator with the ability to operate effectively across both business and technical stakeholders.
