We have an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Occupational Therapist to work alongside the Rapid Therapy Assessment team at Scunthorpe Hospital. You will provide assessment on shirt stay working with the seniors in the team, working in a and e and short stay areas.
This is an exciting opportunity for occupational therapists to gain skills and experience working across both acute and community services.
Main Duties
The successful applicant will receive formal support from senior staff within the team, with preceptorship in your first year and regular supervision and appraisal. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of your own caseload of patients and participate in quality assurance processes for the allocation of work.
Rotations include community settings and outreach, so you will need to be able to travel across the county within your duties. You will work closely with social care staff and nurses.
